MEET THE TEAM

Over the last 27 years I have helped people with a vast range of organic materials. Most people are unaware of the variety of outlets available and the potential of their organic by-products. A quick chat can provide some direction and if the option to work together arises I can provide an open and honest solution.

I’m Basis Registered, a member of CIWM and a chartered environmentalist. As a company we work well with SEPA and the other regulating authorities, providing options for materials such as digestate, soil, compost, distillery and other organic by-products to a range of outlets such as agriculture, anaerobic digestion, composting etc. I work with the producers, or their waste management companies, to provide advice or reliable outlets.

Thomas Neely

I’m an Agriculture graduate of Queen’s University Belfast with additional qualifications in Business Management.  My whole career has been spent in the agricultural supply industry, gaining experience in both animal nutrition and crop production. The contacts I’ve made over more than 25 years allow me to market our clients’ organic materials to a wide range of potential outlets.

Through our professional and knowledge-based approach, we provide information in an easily accessible manner so that farmers and landowners can make the best use of the resources available in organic by-products. Our attention to detail helps build up trust between the producer and the end-user of organic materials. If you’d like to maximise the potential of your by-products, please get in touch – it costs nothing to chat.

I studied Agriculture at Oatridge College before starting work in agricultural field operations over 20 years ago.  Over this time I have expanded my education on a wide range of organic by-products and gained good insight and experience of their benefits to a variety of farm types when used in the right way.

I take pride in having a good rapport with all our customers and ensure all our operations, and the materials we supply are delivered in the best way possible. My additional experience with transport and sales gives me a well-rounded view of what’s needed to help farmers maximise their yields. I have the pleasure of working in an ever-changing industry where I have a firm interest and commitment and I try to portray this in the work I do with Entrust.

I have around 40 years experience in accounts, 20 of which have been in agriculture. My job is to co-ordinate and ensure orders and accounts are communicated to our customers supplying products and the many agricultural customers. Working with Entrust has introduced me to a wider range of products which farmers can now access, and has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of agricultural requirements.

I get great pleasure from the high level of customer loyalty we have and the continuous repeat business that generates. As a small team we pride ourselves not only on the products we supply, but also on good communication and service. We genuinely appreciate every customer we have.

I have worked in various capacities, providing practical advice and support to clients to ensure that environmental, health, and safety legislation and best practices are complied with. I hold a post graduate degree in Energy and Environmental Management, and I am a Graduate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). I also hold a Diploma in Applied Health & Safety, and the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.

I was brought up on a family farm in the borders and gained an HND in Agriculture at Seale Hayne College in Devon. I then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Farm Business Organisation and Management at Aberdeen University.

I have been involved in agriculture all my life, initially working for Simpsons Malt as a malt production supervisor. I then moved to the British Society of Plant Breeders, dealing with seed royalty collections. This took me to all four corners of Great Britain auditing all certified seed merchants in the country. Most recently, I have been with Ringlink and Tayforth Machinery Rings, focusing mainly on sourcing energy crops for Anaerobic Digestion. I also dealt with inputs for arable farming, including fertiliser, lime, and seed as well as malting barley contracts. I live in Glenfarg with my wife Karin and two children Alice and James who attend the local high school in Kinross. I coach Kinross minis rugby and take a keen interest in all sports which the children take part in.

After studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Strathclyde University and taking a CIM Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at Napier University I have enjoyed a varied career spanning over thirty years in the energy supply industry with Scottish Power. My experiences include leading the development of the UK’s first ever domestic Energy Services Company (HELPCo) in conjunction with Ofgem and twelve London Borough Councils, managing a portfolio of energy intensive customers in the Industrial and Commercial sector, developing performance contracting solutions to maximise ‘end-use’ efficiency, through to having responsibility for developing Scottish Power’s energy strategy across the new build housing sector.

I am now looking forward to meeting new challenges at Entrust Environmental and aim to use my past experience to help you navigate through what is becoming an increasingly more complex and challenging energy marketplace.
